The Mykolaiv Press Club is an independent NGO that brings together individuals united by a shared interest in the objective dissemination of information through media, the study of public opinion in the region, and the advancement of independent journalism. Since its establishment on December 11, 2003, our organization has been thriving and making a significant impact.
Main Areas of Activity:
For over 20 years, the Mykolaiv Press Club has organized more than 2,000 media-related events, including round tables, seminars, training sessions, information campaigns, talk shows, and various activities for journalists. Our events have featured experts in media, democracy development, civil society, and reform implementation, among other fields.

From 2009 to 2021, the Mykolaiv Press Club, in collaboration with TV channel TAK TV, produced over 500 episodes of the talk show "Television Press Club with Glib Golovchenko", which aired live every Friday. The show featured hundreds of guests, including politicians, diplomats, ambassadors, leaders of international organizations, businesspeople, public figures, journalists, and Olympic champions.
Leadership
Glib Golovchenko, the Chairman of the Board of the Mykolaiv Press Club, serves as the Secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine and is the President of the Association of Press Clubs. Glib Golovchenko is an Honored Journalist of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences in Education
